Requirements

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site leadership and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, roadways, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Serve in an armed post in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal policies, maintaining professional weapon handling, situational awareness, and appropriate response readiness.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct.
