As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card or license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal culture.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and site procedures.
