Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established armed post procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials as assigned, reporting unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site requirements.
