As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team at Allied Universal while acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, utility-related infrastructure, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
