As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and agency protocols.
  • Monitor access points and help control entry and exit of authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
