Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access to the property by checking credentials, observing visitor activity, and assisting with entry and exit procedures in accordance with site expectations.
• Support a professional atmosphere by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with residents and/or management, and following post orders for overnight, weekend, and/or emergency situations.
