In this armed post, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses, document activity, and help maintain smooth operations across the site. Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document activity, and coordinate the timely assignment of personnel to incidents, alarms, escorts, and/or other security-related needs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering relevant details and relaying updates to site leadership, first responders, and/or designated contacts as needed.
  • Support badge, access, and visitor management processes by communicating post instructions, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as directed, while maintaining communication with field personnel and helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and timely reporting.
