About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Duty Controller in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely response to security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and teamwork. Requirements

  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Possess handcuffing certification, preferred.
  • Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, access-control concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor communication channels and maintain accurate logs of dispatch activity, incident details, personnel status, and follow-up actions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
  • Coordinate with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership to support timely communication and incident response.
