About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Driving Role in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, dispatch personnel, document incidents, and provide responsive customer service. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
  • Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and emergency calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear communication through radio, telephone, and electronic systems.
  • Monitor security-related systems, alarms, and communications; document incidents, requests, and dispatch activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and support as directed by established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, and report unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
