As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. This armed and driving position involves supporting daily operations, maintaining clear communication, and helping to deter incidents through your presence and responsiveness. Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help maintain order within the location.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to support emergency response activities and help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any potential security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as required.
