About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Clearance Required Patrol in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and respond to incidents with integrity and teamwork. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of armed corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Possess a DD214 with an Honorable Discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and follow established protocols for controlled areas and restricted information.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations and concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
