As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Oakland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including armed response when aligned with post orders and applicable requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Document daily activities, patrol findings, and incident details in clear reports, and assist with requested support during opening, closing, and other sensitive operational periods.
