As a Security Officer Armed Association Patrol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will drive through assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or a college degree in criminal justice.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service is preferred
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Unarmed guard card & Armed card is required

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access when required, and support access control procedures for residents, contractors, deliveries, and guests.
  • Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards, post orders, and applicable laws, while observing surroundings and reporting security-related hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
