As a Security Officer - Armed Association Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and guard card is required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, guests, residents, staff, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records, issue access credentials as directed, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding arrivals and/or access requests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, lobbies, gates, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
