As a Security Officer Armed Access Watch in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Access Control Officer at a premier private club location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and guest authorizations, and help to control access to the location in accordance with post orders and property guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the clubhouse, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
