As a Security Officer Armed Access Screening in Bennettsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
