As a Security Officer Armed Access Screening in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or criminal justice degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Hold CPR certification preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points to a residential property, verify authorization for entry, and document visitor, vendor, and/or contractor activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, common spaces, parking locations, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records while communicating professionally with property management and Allied Universal leadership.
