About The Position
Securitas is seeking Security Officers and Supervisors (Unarmed and Armed) for various locations including Richmond, VA, Petersburg, VA (Armed Only), Sandston, VA, and Colonial Heights, VA. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Pass a lifetime background and drug test.
- 1 year of Security Experience Required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be professional.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
- Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
- Must be armed certified (for Armed positions).
- Must have a Valid Driver's License (for Supervisor positions).
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Nice To Haves
- Security Supervisor Experience (for Unarmed Supervisor positions).
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
- Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
