Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a busy logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and/or deliveries, and report discrepancies, damaged property, or operational issues to the appropriate site representative.
Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing movement of people, vehicles, and/or shipments, following post orders, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
