At a residential location, our unarmed patrol officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional residential environment by answering questions, providing directions, and communicating clearly with residents, guests, vendors, and/or emergency responders when needed.
