Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset while contributing to a reliable, agile, and innovative workplace.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all individuals at the location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report discrepancies according to site procedures.
  • Support security-related operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by observing site activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with order and organization during routine and emergency situations.
