As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Monitoring in Piscataway, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Our Security Officers support a premier retail location by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and visitor activity at a luxury retail location, following established procedures for entry, deliveries, and employee access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Assist with the protection of merchandise, property, and brand presentation by observing activity and promptly reporting suspicious behavior.
