About The Position

As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

Nice To Haves

• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, as conditions vary across the location.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorized entry for staff, vendors, and/or visitors in accordance with site procedures and governmental location requirements.
• Support public-facing operations by offering directions, addressing questions, and helping to de-escalate disruptions while maintaining a professional presence.
