As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol Monitoring in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and/or maintenance issues according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.
