About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, families, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access to campus areas, observe visitor activity, and support school policies related to student, staff, and visitor movement.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
