About The Position

As a Security Officer Aerospace Building in Garden Grove, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity to help support authorized access throughout the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including sensitive operational areas, to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Assist with screening deliveries, coordinating contractor access, and maintaining accurate logs and reports related to daily access control and security-related activities.
