Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Security experience of 2+ years is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and help to support incident documentation and reporting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to verify entry authorizations, and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or concerning behavior to site contacts.
  • Support a professional presence at a dynamic technology-focused location while helping to address policy questions, direct foot traffic, and communicate observed security-related concerns.
