As a Security Officer-Active Clearance in Broomfield, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear records, and communicate professionally with personnel and emergency services. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications for security-related incidents, alarms, service requests, and/or critical situations, maintaining calm, professional communication with responding personnel.
  • Document calls, incidents, dispatch activities, and shift communications accurately in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
  • Coordinate with onsite personnel, emergency responders, and management during incidents, providing timely information and supporting appropriate response actions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and/or maintenance issues.
