As an Access Control Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, and help support a welcoming environment for guests, residents, and staff. This role combines visible presence, customer service, and clear communication while handling security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, hospitality-focused policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and other access points to help control authorized entry, check credentials, and document visitor and vendor activity.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns within guest and back-of-house areas.
  • Prepare accurate reports related to access activity, incidents, and policy violations, and help to support a professional and welcoming environment throughout the location.
