As a Security Officer Access Verification Desk in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and help support smooth site entry for visitors, vendors, and team members. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, trailer yards, and other restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support traffic flow and access management for deliveries and outbound shipments by directing authorized vehicles and/or pedestrians in accordance with post instructions and location protocols.
