About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Systems Operator in Greensboro, North Carolina, you will help safeguard a logistics and distribution location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity using computer or tablet systems, and assist visitors and employees. Your visible presence, communication, and customer service will help deter security-related incidents and support smooth site operations. This is a part-time position scheduled Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access logs and visitor records.
• Screen and direct delivery personnel, contractors, and other authorized visitors according to site procedures and vehicle-access requirements.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
