About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control professional, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee access with professionalism and care. In this role, you will help monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas and perimeter points, with attention to access gates, doors, and other controlled entry locations.
  • Support screening and visitor management processes, maintain accurate access records, and communicate professionally with staff and/or guests regarding post instructions and location procedures.
