In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, issue badges or passes as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, open access points, and other security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed logs of visitor traffic, deliveries, and/or contractor activity, and support screening and check-in processes for people entering restricted or controlled areas.
