Requirements

  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • A current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report suspicious, unusual, and/or unauthorized activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant details to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related issues or operational concerns.
