About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor gates, doors, badge systems, and visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters within production, warehouse, and exterior areas.
• Support site operations by following post orders, reporting policy violations, and assisting with visitor management, truck traffic coordination, and other access-related tasks in a food and beverage location.
