As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will help manage access control, verify badges and credentials, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, production spaces, and parking areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns, visitor activity, and access-related events according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gate areas, and vehicle access points, noting security-related issues and reporting conditions that may need attention.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and employee access processes by communicating clearly with site contacts, maintaining visitor logs, and following post orders for deliveries, contractors, and after-hours entry requests.
