Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, inspect authorized items as required, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting access control issues, hazards, and/or operational concerns that could impact daily activities.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by helping to screen people, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with location procedures within a logistics and distribution environment.
