About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Point Monitor in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor, vendor, and driver entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entry points, loading areas, and freight operations while following site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, access points, and freight staging areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
