About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will safeguard clients in industries including healthcare. At a healthcare location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and authorization before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations; escalate concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or access control concerns.
