As a Security Guard Full Time Access Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalating concerns as needed.
• Assist with access control, customer and visitor inquiries, and incident documentation while helping to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and disruptions.
