In this role, you will remain visible, greet visitors, verify credentials, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor management protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in support of security-related operations at a fast-paced technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels and preparing clear, accurate reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing site activity, challenging individuals when appropriate, and reporting suspicious, unusual, and/or policy-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and other restricted spaces, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
