About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted operational areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and dispatch, document observations and incidents accurately, and support continuity of utility operations.
