About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge-related processes, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
