About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management Coordinator in Walton, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging activities, and other security-related policies at the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, receiving areas, and/or restricted spaces to help manage authorized access for employees, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site and Allied Universal communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by observing customer and employee activity, documenting concerns, and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
