About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Integrity in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, you will safeguard a logistics and distribution location by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a secure workplace for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The position is part-time and pays $18.54 per hour. Scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific access-control policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, authorize entry according to site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
Respond calmly to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
