About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Intake in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily site operations with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Support employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with directions, check-in procedures, and other security-related inquiries while maintaining professional site standards.
