As a Security Officer Lobby Intake in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations through clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry activity, verify identification and/or delivery documentation as required, and direct visitors, drivers, and employees to the appropriate contact or area.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Answer phones, maintain front desk logs and visitor records, and communicate clearly with staff, vendors, and transportation personnel regarding access-related questions and site procedures.
