As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery vehicle information.
  • Monitor access points, alarm systems, cameras, and other assigned security-related equipment; report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
