As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Franklin, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry activity, verify credentials, and help support a smooth flow of people and visitors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor entry, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entrances, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Support truck gate and dock operations by observing inbound and outbound traffic, checking required paperwork, and reporting policy violations, damaged property, and/or suspicious activity.
