Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following access control procedures, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit activity, and supporting site-specific security-related policies.
  • Monitor gates, entrances, and assigned access points to help control the movement of people, vehicles, trailers, and/or deliveries throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including warehouse areas, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, as directed by post instructions.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to visitor activity, shipping and receiving traffic, and other access-related events to support daily operations and security-related awareness.
